Pregnancy Insomnia: What to do, how to deal

For my 2nd pregnancy, I had the worst insomnia. From the very beginning this kid caused me so  much loss of sleep, and by that I mean sleep I wasn't getting because I had a toddler! I would wake up at 2:30am and be up for the day. The entire day. I tried going to be earlier, I tried baths before bed, I tried epsom salts... you name it. I was so desperate!

I mentioned it to my OBGYN and she suggested I take magnesium. So I did. And thank goodness it worked. But It didn't work every single time! This was a solution that worked 30% of the time, but at least I had some relief.  Here's the Magnesium supplement that helped me. As a bonus, it also majorly helped with constipation, another horrible ill that befell me during my second pregnancy.  

To be honest, I tried all the tried and true solutions and really only one worked: taking magnesium. This is something my OBGYN reccomended.
